Sighting Timeframe: summer 1980`s
County: Bedford County
Location: There are TONS of recorded bigfoot sitings back to pre colonial in the VA areas. As to this one. It happened probably 10 years back to my friend Vickie Holt (Then Murphy) She and her (Now Ex) husband were driving on the blue ridge parkway Near Roanoke VA. It was late at night with exellent Visibility.
Activities: Vix and David were driving. The Sasquatch was sitting on the guard rail on the passengers side of the road. They slowed down, almost to a stop, to check it out and it got up, watching them, and walked across the road, steped over the other guard rail adn walked down the embankment into the woods.
Witnesses: Vickie and David
Setting: Protected woods and adjacent fields, mountainous, some caves.
Physical Description: Around 7 ft tall. What made it special though was it was White. They couldn`t see if it was White furred or Albino, But it was definatly solid white. We refer to it as "The Albino Wookie"
